We answer within one business day (usually much faster). Include your store's .myshopify.com address and the PO number if your question is about an order.

Getting started

How do I connect my Rithum account?

Rithum gives API credentials on request. In the app's setup, step 1 has a ready-to-send email: send it to support@dsco.io asking them to "Create Client Credentials" for your supplier account. When you get the client ID and secret, paste them into the app and click Test and save connection.

Can I try the app before I have my Rithum keys?

Yes. Choose Explore with demo data in setup. Click Send a demo order and a sample retailer order for your own in-stock products is created in Shopify (tagged dsco-test-order – don't ship it). Fulfill it and watch the shipment and invoice go back to the demo retailer.

What do my products need?

Every product you sell to retailers needs a SKU in Shopify that matches the SKU in Rithum exactly, with inventory tracked. Setup step 3 checks this and lists any missing or duplicate SKUs.

Orders

How often do new orders arrive?

The app checks Rithum every few minutes. Orders appear in Shopify tagged dsco with the retailer's name and PO number. Use Sync now on the dashboard to check right away.

What happens if I don't have stock for an order?

If the setting to cancel lines you can't fill is on, lines you can't fill are cancelled with the retailer as out of stock; the rest of the order still comes in. Unknown SKUs are cancelled too. Either way you get an alert.

How do I ship an order?

Fulfill it in Shopify as usual, with a tracking number. The app sends the shipment to the retailer, and once every line has shipped it sends the invoice. Use the carrier and method the retailer asked for (shown on the order) – retailers can reject shipments that don't match, and the app warns you if they differ.

Where are the packing slips?

On the Home and Orders pages: Print new packing slips prints every order you haven't printed yet, and each order has its own Packing slip link. Slips carry the retailer's name, PO barcode and item numbers, without prices.

An order says "Needs attention". What do I do?

It couldn't be created in Shopify (the alert says why). Fix the cause, then click Retry on the order.

What are Rithum test orders?

During onboarding Rithum sends test orders for each retailer. The app brings them in tagged dsco-test-order even with no stock. Fulfill them in Shopify with any tracking number to pass the test – don't actually ship anything.

Can I stop orders for a while?

Yes – Pause in Settings. While paused, no new orders or inventory updates are sent; shipments and invoices for orders you already have still go out.

Billing and account

How much does it cost?

$49 per month after a 14-day free trial, billed by Shopify. Demo mode is free. Cancel any time by uninstalling the app.

What happens when I uninstall?

The app stops right away and your Shopify orders stay in Shopify. Shopify asks us to erase your store's data 48 hours later, and we delete it. See our privacy policy.
